Sound guides use gh = غ, kh = خ, th = ث, ḥ = ح and ʿ = ع. Keep é distinct from long ī, and o from ū. These written guides simplify the sound; use the teacher’s video to listen.
في دليل اللفظ: gh = غ، kh = خ، th = ث، ḥ = ح، ʿ = ع. ميّز é من الياء الطويلة، وo من الضم الطويل. الكتابة تقرّب الصوت؛ استمع إلى الأستاذ في الفيديو.
An unvowelled Olaf can support the vowel on the letter before it. Read that vowel together with Olaf, without inserting a new “a” or a separate glottal stop. Look at the vowel marks each time.

Arabic hints and Latin sound guides help you begin. Listen to the teacher for the pronunciation used in this course; transliteration alone cannot capture every sound.
The vowel drills combine all 22 letters and their valid joining forms with the five marks from lesson 2. They are additional reading practice, not vocabulary words. The Pronunciation section covers lesson 3 with bilingual rules and free reading practice, including its exercise. This website is a WIP will be updated with further lessons
